You STILL missed features. When using FaceID/TouchID, or a security key to login into WEBSITES (at least on iPadOS), there is a new UI, similar to Sign In with Apple. It used to be a little small popup box, but now, it’s like Sign In with Apple (like a window, not a popup)

I use iOS 14.5 beta 2 on my iPhone SE 2016. Performance is good, I missed iOS 14.5 beta 1, so joined on 2. I immediately noticed faster app launches and general responsiveness across the whole system when upgrading from iOS 14.4 to 14.5 beta 2. However, performance can just rapidly decline, being really slow and unstable but less than a minute later picking back up again. Scrolling through apps such as iTunes Store, Settings and Music can sometimes feel slow, which is annoying as none of these issues were present on 14.4.

I’m in 14.5 Beta 2 and since a couple days while using the WhatsApp and other applications the device goes stone clod for 5 seconds and automatically locks itself. Wow! I didn't know about the addition of software updates over cellular data in iOS 14.5 beta 2. I am from the India and it makes sense as to why people here want software updates over cellular data - because cellular data plans in the India offer quite a lot of internet data that is comparable to broadband plans. Almost all the ISPs here offer unlimited data on their Broadband plans that could cost as low as INR 399 ($5.5) with 30 Mbps upload and download speed. It's sufficient speed for watching 4K content without any buffer. This particular plan is offered by Reliance Jio Fibre. Government plans could cost even less. I have been to the US and I found internet plans to be exorbitantly priced given internet infrastructure is a lot developed and advanced there. Internet services in India are a lot cheaper.

Please make video on this issue New iPhone 12 Pro Max. At startup the Apple logo flashes super bright for a brief second then the screen goes dark for about 10 seconds before the “Apple Logo re appears at normal brightness to finish the startup. I’ve had iPhones for years and never had the logo turn on and then off during startup. Just like apple logo blinking at star up then disappear after fee second its show normally and iPhone switch On.

Working well on my 12PM, battery life 8-10 hrs, only 2 minor issues: 1) phone shut down while playing a game, only happened once and haven’t been able to replicate. 2) my phone no longer unlocks my apple watch series 6, tho the watch unlocks the phone perfectly when I’m wearing a mask. But these are minor, overall I’m very pleased with this beta.

Apple needs to fix this battery life issue. It causes more charging cycles which wears out the battery faster. My iPad is only about a year and a half old and I already had to replace the battery in it.

Have you heard anything about the Apple logo flashing brightly at startup, then screen going dark? Logo reappears about 5-10 seconds later and then begins the startup process as normal. Frustrating because Apple hasn’t released a response yet and people are wondering whether or not this could cause long term damage.

Green tint and black backgrounds not fully turning off are two separate issues. I have noticed models without the green tint will have the glow on black background at dim brightness. Sort of looks like an lcd screen. I’m hoping they will fix the green tint.
