In my experience with this phone, the camera is great, but I wish the large sensors were in the smaller Pro because the Max is too big. All of the shiny parts are dust/print magnets (even when in a case). Otherwise, it's fine and I plan on keeping it until at least 2023.

Just updated to 12 Pro Max two weeks ago from my 8 plus and I miss my Touch ID. Face ID with a mask is really a pain. My husbands Note 10 plus has Touch ID on screen. Hopefully Apple will do that with their future phones.

i have some odd charging issues especially when the iPhone 12 max is active on Google meets. The phone doesn't charge as fast when there's a meeting going on, in fact the batt level is dropping. Once the meeting ends, I will need to unplug and replug again to gain full charging speed. Its the 20w charger though.

I upgraded from a 7+ to a 12 Pro Max. Battery life is incredible, the display is amazing, and the camera is absolutely beautiful. It was a bit of a learning curve going from home button to no joke button, but I love this phone so much.

Things I love about my 12 Pro max: almost everything. Amazing camera, battery life, screen, speakers and has a charging port. Things I don’t like: its heavy compared to my old 7 Plus, finger prints on the stainless steel, lack of high refresh rate screen although I don’t feel like I’m missing out on day to day use.

Great phone 📲, but I prefer the feel of and one handed use of the rounded iPhone 11 Pro Max vs the 12 Pro Max, and yes, I own both phones. Great long term update as always, thanks much. If Apple 🍎 doesn’t downgrade the regular size Pro phone for 2021 compared to the 2021 Max model as they did with the 2020 phones I’m going to grab the regular size 2021 iPhone Pro this year.

I too have to 12 Pro Max and I agree that it seems to be more scratch resistant than the 11. When I had the iPhone 11 I put it down on my nightstand with the screen facing down. I put it down and used my finger to push it further onto the stand. And while doing that I could hear the sound of glass being rubbed on sand. I couldn’t see or feel any sand in the nightstand, but it was enough to give the screen a long deep scratch. I’m my iPhone 12 Pro Max without a screen protector and case and there isn’t a single mark in the phone. *knock on wood*

@zollotech Hi Aaron,My current phone is 6s with 73% battery health. Phone has become relatively slower I think to avoid repetitive unexpected shutdowns. So I ordered 12 pro and it arrived. I observed during boot up apple symbol is Flickering initially and then displaying consistently and then the phone display is turned on properly. It’s still in return window. I am thinking of 2 options. 1. To return in the 14 day window and ask Apple to send replacement 12 pro phone. 2. To ask for a refund and wait till 13 is launched this year in September and buy 13 then Could you please suggest. Your advice would be highly appreciated. Thank you

Wow not a single flaw in this phone(according to the video). I actually didn’t like this review because it didn’t point out any flaws, specifically related to the camera. I have 12 Pro Max and my wife has 12 Pro. Both our phones have this 4 dots reflection when taking pictures with inside lighting. We have noticed these reflective dots when taking pictures next to Christmas tree and candles on a birthday cake. Also when the person sitting next to a lamp or candle or fire, the four reflection dots are right there all the time. The Dolby vision 4K video recording is not as smooth, it lags occasionally even after the recording watching the video on my phone it lags. The macro photography is better on my wife’s 12 Pro. I need to put my 12 Pro Max further away to take a close up picture, if I have it closer to an object the photo is just blurry. Overall I felt like there is absolutely no difference between the camera on iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, then why pay extra for the “best” camera on Pro Max??? I personally purchased this phone for the camera experience and although I was impressed with the improvements from last phone, I think there are some significant flaws that Apple needs to fix and you haven’t pointed it out in your video.
